WE'RE GOING TO BURNING MAN! We have been accepted and are listed @ Theme Camps 2008 Yes, this is a "registered" camp, and we will have setup accomplished before anyone gets there by a group of people who will be there about three days early. It will be up and running for the rest of the participants when they get there. Work and Deco weekends for the camp start May 23rd. Much has been already done, but there is still much to do. Contact Yardz at s_t_3@cox.net for more info. There are currently about 25 spots left for this camp with the total number of campers at 50. |

A few of us have also been working the event for the past 2 to 5
plus years also (DPW, Lamplighters, Perimeter, etc, etc.) Camp fee will be $100.00 per person. We will start collecting this after TOAST, the AZ Regional Burn in early May. - Donations of alcohol, fuel and other goodies are always welcome also! We will also be running a 10 cab sound system at about 15,000 watts, and a complete DJ setup with cdj's and turntables, with sound also in the chill/lounge/bar area. If you would like to play a set, contact s_t_3@cox.net for more info. We are also setting up a dedicated fire performance space with daily workshops and a nightly "open spin", and working on getting a couple larger performance troupes to visit us, and putting together a few, what would be considered, "headliner" DJ's to play for us, along with our 6 resident DJ's. |
